Representatives of the Economics Students’ Association of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (ESA-KNUST) have emerged winners at the just ended inter-school competition held at Central University.
The competition which was a part of the commemoration of the department week celebration at the Central University, saw KNUST and Central University debate in the finals on the motion stating if mineral deposits should be harnessed now or in the future. KNUST was against the motion, ie. mineral deposits should be harnessed in the future.
This saw both teams intellectually and vigorously argue out with all wit, until KNUST were adjudged the winners by the three member panel judges. The representatives for the winning team were Mr. Edwin Nii Odoi Odoi, Mr. Emmanuel Boateng and Miss Ewuradwoa Fosuwa Yarquah, all from the Economics department of KNUST. We at HYPEGH say a congratulations to all of them for lifting high the flag of KNUST.
