Reports from Successafrica.info indicates that A level 300 student reading Bsc. Business Administration(Logistics and Supply Chain Management), Hon. Robert Kumi Adu-Gyamfi has been duly sworn in as the 13th Speaker of the KNUST Students’ Parliament House.
He garnered 49 votes out of the 90 total votes cast ahead of his contenders, Hon. John Kaguna, and Hon. Appiah- Konadu Lordia who took home 28 and 13 votes respectively
Rt. Hon. Robert Kumi Adu-Gyamfi has been an astute member of the house for the past three years and has served as member of leadership for the 11th Parliament as the Marshal and the 12th Parliament as the Deputy Majority Leader.
The learned, who happens to be the founder of Success Africa Media was honored as the hardworking SRC executive in Kumasi High School in the 2015/2016 academic year
The Ashanti Regional Students’ Representative Council valued his selfless contribution to the students in the Ashanti Region and certified him as the hardworking Editorial Board member and the Outstanding Student Leader in the 2015/2016 academic year.
Rt. Hon. Robert Kumi Adu-Gyamfi as an astute giant in the field of debating marred with serving as an executive, was unanimously stoned by the Ashanti Regional Writers, Drama and Debaters Club as the Outstanding Regional Executive. That was also in the 2015/2016 academic year.
In 2017, the prestigious award by the National Students’ Alliance occurred and since he is a man of diligence and his works are well appreciated by many in our country and beyond, he was given the Meritorious Award.
Something people must toil for decades before they get, he gets in seconds because of his outstanding performance in every disciplinary.
Now, as a student journalist, the country honored him again.
Within a competitive team of journalist across the tertiary institutions, he stood out as the National Student Journalist of the Year 2018. This award was given to him last year at the National Students’ Alliance awards, 2018.
He takes over from former Speaker Rt. Hon. Frank Blay as the Speaker of the 13th Parliament.
