Samini Storms UDS

The legendary, iconic and ever sensational reggae dancehall artist Emmanuel Andrews Samini popularly called Samini on the night of Saturday 16, November, 2019 stormed the WA campus of the University for Development Studies.

He was invited by the SRC entertainment committee as the main performer for their welcoming of fresh students and Akwaaba night.

His arrival saw a massive attendance by not only students in the campus but also other students from the various tertiary institutions in the upper west region which happens to be his native region.

He performed his back to back hit songs like Linda, Obaa, My baby, Slow motion and many more for several hours.

His energetic and records of good music performance made the students to ask for moreĀ  at the time he had to bring his performance to an end.

He also took the opportunity to advice students to be of good behavior and also take their books serious.
