Ghana has seen numerous crimes in the last three years, leading many Ghanaians to believe the country was experiencing a security crisis. Bank robberies, automobile snatchings, police station raids, and the assassination of several well-known national officials were all reported.

The most popular unsolved murder cases in Ghana during the previous three years are listed below.

The Murder of J.B Danquah Adu

J.B Danquah died on the night of February 9, 2016, in his Shiashie home in Accra, of an early death. Daniel Asiedu, also known as Sexy Dondor, and another man, Vincent Bosso, have been charged with murder and aiding and abetting the murder of the late MP.

The Murder of Ahmed Hussein-Suale

According to the late official’s relatives, the circumstances surrounding his death lead them to believe that his murder was the result of a contract killing rather than a robbery. The homicide case is still being investigated.

On November 7, 2020, it was revealed that popular Kumawood actor Abass Nurudeen, often known as Blinks, died untimely after being stabbed in a quarrel.

While the rumors were widely circulated on social media, details about the assassination were few. Nothing has been heard from the police since they arrested a suspect in the case.
