UHAS SRC : Felix Mawulorm Apaloo Is The Federal SRC President-Elect
It was all joy yesterday after the election when the Electoral Commissioner of the SRC declared Mr Felix Mawulorm Apaloo as the Federal SRC President-elect during a zoom declaration meeting with all students of the University.
In an election which was bedevilled with several court cases and a cancellation somewhere along the electoral line, the students indeed spoke yesterday as they massively voted for Mr. Felix Mawulorm Apaloo and his Vice President Mr. Benjamin Agyeman.
It must be noted that Mr Mawulorm contested last academic year and lost. However, he didn’t allow this defeat to be the end of his political life on campus. Mr Felix Mawulorm Apaloo received an overwhelming majority vote of 1871 as against 785 of the opponent. Indeed, yesterday’s voter turn out was unprecedented as for the first time in the history of UHAS almost 3000 students partook in an election.
Mr Felix Mawulorm Apaloo is a fourth-year Medical Student and an old student of Keta Senior High School in Keta. He’s a Christian, married to a beautiful Nurse and has two beautiful daughters. He grew up in Aflao and he’s a registered Medical Laboratory Scientist with fifteen years of work experience.
