Denis Muleme and Rebecca Nanyanzi Musiige fell in love during their years in high school, and when the lady’s father got wind of their affair, he was livid.
According to My Wedding, Rebecca’s dad warned her that if she continued with the romantic affair, he would hurt Dennis because he could not imagine his daughter throwing away her dreams for a man who, by then, had no money or a job.
She, however, did not heed her father’s warning and continued pursuing the relationship in secret with the hope that her agitated dad would not find out. Unfortunately, Rebecca’s father later discovered his daughter was still in love with Dennis and he reported him to the police. This prompted Rebecca’s boyfriend to run away for his life. Undeterred, the two lovebirds would still communicate despite the hostility from the lady’s father.
